Welcome to the Make Athlete Action community, where athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and professionals come together to share knowledge, insights, and inspiration.

To foster a positive, respectful, and supportive environment, we have developed this Community Code, which outlines the standards we expect all members to follow. By participating in our community, whether through comments, forum discussions, social media interactions, or contributing content, you agree to abide by these guidelines.

Respectful Communication

Our community thrives on respectful and constructive dialogue. We encourage everyone to share their opinions, insights, and feedback, but it’s essential to communicate with kindness and respect. Here are a few ways to ensure that your contributions foster a positive atmosphere:

  • Be courteous and considerate in your interactions. Treat others with the same level of respect you expect to receive.
  • Disagreeing with someone is fine, but always express your thoughts in a respectful and constructive manner. Criticize ideas, not individuals.
  • Avoid personal attacks, insults, or inflammatory language. We have zero tolerance for harassment, bullying, or any form of abuse.

  • When offering advice, be clear and specific. Try to share practical tips or suggestions that others can apply to their own training or fitness goals.
  • Avoid unsolicited advice unless it’s requested. If someone asks for feedback, feel free to provide it, but be mindful of offering advice in situations where it might not be wanted.
  • Frame your feedback in a positive and helpful manner. Focus on what someone can improve rather than simply pointing out what they’ve done wrong.

No Spamming or Self-Promotion

We want to ensure that the Make Athlete Action community remains a space for genuine interaction and the exchange of valuable information. We ask all members to avoid using the platform for spamming or excessive self-promotion.

  • Do not post promotional content, advertisements, or unsolicited links to your own products, services, or websites unless you have explicit permission from the Make Athlete Action team.
  • If you wish to share a product or service you believe would benefit the community, contact us first to discuss potential opportunities for collaboration or advertising.
  • Self-promotion is acceptable when it’s relevant to the conversation and adds value, but please avoid excessive or repetitive promotion of your own brand or business.

Content Quality and Accuracy

We are committed to providing evidence-based, reliable content for our community. When you contribute to discussions or share information, it’s important to ensure that your contributions are accurate and rooted in fact.

  • Whenever possible, base your advice or insights on credible sources such as scientific research, professional experience, or widely accepted best practices in the fields of fitness, sports science, and nutrition.
  • Avoid spreading misinformation or unverified claims. If you’re unsure about the accuracy of the information you’re sharing, consider reframing it as a question or discussion point rather than a definitive statement.

If you participate in discussions that involve personal stories or experiences, feel free to share what you are comfortable with but avoid pressuring others to disclose more than they are willing to.

Reporting Violations

If you encounter behavior that violates this Community Code or makes you feel uncomfortable, we encourage you to report it to the Make Athlete Action team. We are committed to addressing any issues promptly and ensuring that our community remains a positive and supportive space for everyone.

We reserve the right to take appropriate action, including removing content or banning users, in response to any violations of the Community Code. We believe in giving individuals the opportunity to correct their behavior, but serious or repeated offenses may result in permanent removal from the community.
